Dragon Well is the most famous green tea and it is produced in West Lake area in Hangzhou.  The timing to harvest the fresh green tea leaves is particularly important for processing the best Dragon Well.  It is usually confined to 10 days in early spring before the Qing Ming Festival (early April). It is characterised by its unique sword-shaped tea leaves, bright greenish tea color, gentle roasted aroma from frying, and mellow bittersweet taste.  This tea contains Vitamin C and amino acids.  It also helps to reduce inner body heat.
